Frequently asked questions
How is the CEO chosen?
The wallet holding the most of the coin (excluding the pump.fun bonding curve) is CEO. Next are CFO, COO and four board directors. It updates live.
How do votes work?
Anyone holding at least 0.1% can file a resolution with a tiny on-chain transaction. Shareholders vote For or Against the same way; each vote is weighted by the coin held when it's counted, and only your latest vote counts. Voting closes after 72 hours, and at least 1% of supply must vote.
What's in the earnings report?
Volume, buys vs sells, unique traders, new shareholders and an estimated 1% of volume in trading fees, for the current week-long quarter, plus a CEO letter written from those numbers.
Who earns the fees?
Trading happens on pump.fun, so pump.fun's creator fees go to the founder's wallet as normal.
Can someone fake a company?
Each incorporation includes a small registry transaction. CoinCorp only lists filings signed by the coin's real creator, as recorded by pump.fun on-chain.
